
Amanda Kravitz is a social worker, educator, bodyworker, and somatic practitioner.

She is passionate about social justice, a nerd for neuroscience, and in service of helping others to re-connect with self, and with the collective of beings all around us.
Amanda has experience with non-profit mental health organizations, in-home crisis teams, and PHP and IOP programs. She has provided support to clinical teams in director and supervisor roles, and experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams. Specializing in eating disorders and trauma, Amanda also supports those navigating OCD, life transitions, and relationships issues. She aligns her work with Health At Every Size (HAES) principles, and views culture as a key contributor in the human and healing experience.
Amanda prioritizes consent, safety, and autonomy in all aspects of her work. She has hosted trainings on accessible and trauma-informed yoga, neuroscience of yoga, somatic and yoga practices for eating disorders, and more. Amanda has partnered with diverse practitioners to co-host retreats, events and workshops to support individual healing and community resources.
Outside of sessions, you are likely to find Amanda near the ocean, practicing yoga, doing a photoshoot with her cats, or struggling between ice cream flavor choices.
