Your goals are the undercurrent of our work together, how we get there can shift with each session.

Your body, culture, and lived experience are always in conversation with each other — so your care should be, too. Amanda blends social work, bodywork, and somatic practices to support the parts of you that are ready to heal, together.

  • Compassionate and evidence-based support for working through eating disorders, trauma, and other life challenges.  We’ll explore core beliefs and experiences, how these shape you, and your paths toward change. Sessions can be held virtually in your comfortable space of choice. Nature therapy is also offered through walk & talk sessions at a local community park.

  • Somatic experiencing is a body-based, intuitive approach to healing trauma and re-discovering your authentic self. We'll become familiar with your nervous system patterns, then discover and complete unresolved emotional charges. This reconnects us with our innate capacity for healing and self-trust, leading to further embodiment in each of our days.

  • The foundation is trauma-informed care and accessibility - then, a weaving together of breathwork, meditation, supportive movement and neuroscience. The specifics depend on your goals - be it connecting with inner strength, exploring balance, or deepening self-awareness. Yoga practices can be for individual growth, group trainings, or yoga teacher mentorships.

  • This ancient practice can be traced back 2,500 years ago to India and the spread of Buddhism. Thai Yoga Bodywork combines pressure, assisted stretching, and energy work. A bodywork session can support circulation, relaxation, and mobility, while creating a space for discovering the nuances of your physical, emotional, and energetic states.

she/her

Amanda began her service in the mental health community in 2015 as a licensed social worker.

Over time, she saw how many therapeutic approaches emphasized changing the individual—while overlooking the need to re-connect with self, deepen connection with others, and spark cultural shifts.

Through her own study and practice, Amanda experienced the power of collective care - care for the collective parts within ourselves and care for the communities and beings around us.

This realization reshaped her work—toward ways of engaging with life that light us up, touch us deeply, and ground us in who we are in relation to the wider world.

Amanda was instrumental in helping our family...My son went from feeling hopeless to thriving

And understanding that he can do difficult things even when they feel uncomfortable. She helped me become a better parent. My husband is so much more self-aware, and after meeting with Amanda, our relationship is more stable.
